Smoldering July

Updated: Jul 9

Vertical beauty the larkspur manages to express femininity and strength. The name refers to the shape of the petals. They look like claws of a lark bird. Abundant supply of this flower especially in July. Beautiful choice for cut flowers in a vase by themselves, reminds me of wild meadows. Used to be in the same class as delphinium, now are in the ranunculus family. Array of color from white, pink and blues. (Sourced from (PetalPower.com)
